Position Overview:

A privately held developer is hiring a full-time Assistant Project Manager to support the next major phase of a $250M+ mixed-use construction project, working within their in-house GC. This position is based on-site in Delray and will partner closely with senior project leadership to help drive successful project delivery. This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious construction professional who wants to learn from a highly experienced team while gaining exposure to one of South Florida's most complex, high-profile urban mixed-use developments.

Responsibilities:

Support day-to-day project execution from preconstruction through closeout Assist with cost tracking, subcontractor coordination, and procurement processes Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractors Help track project schedule, milestones, and budget performance Assist in managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation Participate in project meetings and maintain clear communication across teams Interface with internal leadership and ownership team as needed

Requirements:

3-10 years of experience in construction project management (APM or similar role) Experience supporting ground-up construction projects preferred but not required Background in multifamily, condo, office, or mixed-use projects is a plus Working knowledge of budgets, schedules, and subcontractor coordination Familiarity with Florida construction codes and permitting preferred Strong organizational and communication skills; detail-oriented and proactive Eager to grow into a full Project Manager role over time Confidential search conducted by a third-party recruiting firm.

Pay:

$90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
