This pivotal role combines administrative expertise with clinical understanding to ensure smooth daily functions, exceptional patient care, and compliance with healthcare regulations. As a key leader, you will oversee staff management, financial oversight, and the implementation of office policies, fostering a productive and welcoming environment for both patients and team members. Your energetic approach will drive excellence in medical office management while maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism. Responsibilities Supervise daily clinic operations, including patient scheduling, registration, and check-in/check-out procedures. Oversee medical administrative support functions such as medical records management, billing, coding, and insurance claims processing using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) eClinicalWorks, Manage fiscal responsibilities including budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation to ensure the practice remains financially healthy. Lead human resources activities such as staff scheduling, performance evaluations, training, and fostering a positive team environment. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other healthcare standards requirements to protect patient privacy and maintain accreditation standards. Coordinate with clinical staff, including Medical Assistants and acute care teams, to optimize patient flow and care delivery. Implement practice management strategies to improve operational efficiency, including utilization management and managed care processes. Requirements Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare administration within a clinical or hospital setting. Demonstrated supervising experience with strong leadership skills to motivate and guide staff effectively. Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, eClinicalWorks, Dentrix, Eaglesoft or similar platforms; experience with Medical Centers or Dental Clinic software is highly desirable. Strong fiscal management skills including budgeting, financial oversight, and resource planning. Background in nursing or acute care environments is advantageous for understanding clinical workflows. Excellent organizational skills combined with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast paced healthcare setting.
