Job Description

Arte Luxe Dental Studio is seeking a motivated, personable, and results-driven Treatment Plan Coordinator to join our growing dental team. In this key role, you will serve as the bridge between our clinical team and patients, helping patients understand their treatment needs, insurance benefits, and financial options while ensuring a seamless and positive experience throughout their dental journey. The ideal candidate is confident discussing treatment recommendations, knowledgeable in dental insurance and financing, and passionate about helping patients achieve their oral health goals. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth within a modern, patient-centered dental practice. Responsibilities Present and explain treatment plans clearly and professionally to patients. Review treatment recommendations from the doctor and educate patients on the benefits and importance of proposed treatment. Verify dental insurance benefits and accurately estimate patient financial responsibility. Coordinate insurance pre-authorizations and assist patients with understanding coverage limitations. Discuss payment options and financing programs, helping patients select the best solution for their needs. Schedule treatment appointments efficiently to maximize patient acceptance and office productivity. Follow up with patients regarding pending treatment plans and unscheduled treatment. Monitor treatment acceptance rates and assist in meeting office production goals. Collect deposits, process payments, and maintain accurate financial records. Collaborate closely with doctors, hygienists, and front office staff to ensure continuity of patient care. Maintain detailed documentation within Open Dental and other practice management systems. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality. Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming, supportive experience for every patient. Qualifications Minimum 3-4 years of experience as a Treatment Coordinator, Dental Front Office Coordinator, or similar role in a dental practice. Strong understanding of dental procedures, treatment planning, and dental terminology. Experience verifying dental insurance benefits and explaining coverage to patients. Knowledge of PPO and Medicare insurance plans and dental claim processes. Familiarity with Open Dental practice management software. Experience discussing financial arrangements and third-party financing options. Excellent communication, sales, and relationship-building skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications. Preferred Skills Proven ability to increase treatment acceptance and patient case completion . Experience with patient follow-up systems and recall management. Strong understanding of dental insurance breakdowns and benefit utilization. Ability to confidently discuss treatment costs and financial solutions.
