Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Dermatology Practice Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of a busy dermatology clinic. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth functioning of clinical and administrative activities, fostering a positive patient experience, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate will bring energetic leadership, exceptional management skills, and a passion for dermatologic excellence. You will be instrumental in driving clinic success through effective fiscal management, team supervision, and operational oversight. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of a fast-paced dermatology practice, ensuring efficiency, organization, and an exceptional patient experience Lead, coach, and support administrative and clinical support staff while fostering a collaborative, patient-centered culture Monitor scheduling, patient flow, provider utilization, and operational performance to optimize workflow and productivity Support hiring, onboarding, training, employee development, and performance accountability initiatives Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and internal operational policies and procedures Oversee inventory, vendor coordination, facility operations, and general administrative functions Support financial and operational performance through reporting, revenue cycle oversight, payroll review, and process improvement initiatives Assist with marketing, patient engagement, and brand growth efforts including social media, events, and patient communications Partner closely with providers, ownership, HR, and leadership teams to support organizational goals and continuous improvement Additional duties as assigned. Experience Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or similar field preferred Experience with EMR systems required. NexTech highly preferred Minimum of 4 years of medical practice management or healthcare operations experience required Dermatology, cosmetic surgery, or similar speciality practice experience required Prior experience supervising staff in a fast-paced clinical environment Skills & Qualifications Strong leadership and team development skills Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Exceptional listening, verbal, and written communication skills Easily adaptable to changing dynamics and situations. Utilizes sound judgment and decision-making. Must have high analytical thinking to think ahead, identify issues, and address needs. High level of organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to maintain a courteous and positive attitude toward customers and fellow employees. Must have accuracy, attention to detail, and fluency in the use of computers. Type at least 60 wpm. Must be proficient with healthcare EMR systems, Microsoft Office Program Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook and SharePoint.
