The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare management, with specific expertise in ophthalmology or a related field. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the ophthalmology practice, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow. This position requires regular travel to Jupiter, Wellington, Boynton Beach and Delray Beach offices. Implement and optimize office policies and procedures to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Recruit, train, and supervise administrative and clinical staff, fostering a positive work environment. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities. Address patient concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally, maintaining high levels of patient satisfaction. Implement quality assurance measures to enhance clinical outcomes and patient safety. Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards. Evaluate and implement electronic health records (EHR) and other technological advancements to improve operational efficiency and patient care delivery. Collaborate with physicians and senior management to develop strategic goals and initiatives for practice growth and development.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare management, with specific experience in ophthalmology preferred.
