As our Emergency Veterinary Technician Manager, you will be the heartbeat of our daily ICU and emergency operations. You will balance clinical oversight with strategic leadership, working closely with our Medical Director, Hospital Director, and Emergency DVM Lead. This role blends leadership with hands-on clinical work, allowing you to actively support Veterinary Technicians and assistants while also assisting DVMs with diagnostics, treatments, and emergency procedures. You will partner closely with hospital leadership to improve protocols, drive departmental initiatives, and support team performance. A key part of this role includes mentoring and developing Veterinary Technicians, helping elevate clinical skills in areas such as anesthesia, monitoring, triage, and critical care. You will also play an important role in maintaining a positive, collaborative work environment that supports both patient outcomes and team well-being.Qualifications:
Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT) required, Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) strongly preferred Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Veterinary Technician in emergency or critical care Minimum 2+ years of leadership, supervisory, or management experience Strong technical skills, including triage and emergency case management, anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery, diagnostic imaging and laboratory procedures, phlebotomy and venipuncture, drug calculations and medication administration Strong communication and leadership skills in a fast-paced environment About Alpharetta Veterinary Specialty +Emergency:
