Job Overview Dental Office Manager & Operations Lead Fee-for-Service Cosmetic & General Dentistry Practice - Dr Maria Benefield Sandy Springs / Dunwoody Area We are a relationship-focused, fee-for-service cosmetic and general dentistry practice seeking an experienced Dental Office Manager & Operations Lead to serve as the primary operational leader and right-hand support person to Dr. Benefield as we continue strengthening and growing our practice. This is not simply a front office or scheduling role. We are looking for a true operational leader with at least 3 recent years of dental office management and leadership experience who can confidently oversee practice operations, lead the team with professionalism and accountability, support financial performance, and help create long-term structure, consistency, and growth throughout the office. This individual will work closely alongside Dr. Benefield and collaborate with the Clinical Lead to help ensure strong communication, operational consistency, team accountability, and an exceptional patient experience. Primary Responsibilities:
Lead daily business and front office operations Manage team accountability, communication, and operational follow-through Oversee scheduling efficiency, patient flow, and operational productivity Monitor collections, KPIs, reporting, and financial performance trends Oversee accounts payable organization, billing coordination, financial reporting visibility, and patient statement processes as needed Help improve practice metrics including collections, schedule efficiency, treatment acceptance, reappointment percentage, and operational accountability Support practice organization, profitability, and operational growth Coordinate with outsourced insurance revenue and verification support teams Assist with patient concerns, vendor coordination, and leadership planning Our ideal candidate is calm under pressure, highly organized, emotionally mature, financially aware, and capable of leading both people and systems successfully. They lead by example, value teamwork, and understand that strong leaders are willing to step in and support the team when needed while maintaining focus on the bigger operational picture.
What We're Looking For:
Minimum 3 years recent dental office management and leadership experience required Proven ability to lead a team professionally and hold others accountable respectfully Strong understanding of dental practice operations, collections, scheduling, and reporting systems Excellent communication, leadership, and follow-through skills Dentrix experience preferred Growth-minded, dependable, proactive, and highly organized This position is intended for experienced dental office leaders with a proven ability to manage both team dynamics and practice operations successfully.

$30.00 - $34.00 per hour
