Our current office manager, who has been with the practice since its founding, will be retiring within the next six months. We are looking for a long-term successor who is committed to maintaining the culture, stability, and high standard of care our team has built. This is a hands-on leadership role within a close-knit, team-oriented practice. The Practice Manager will oversee daily operations while actively supporting staff and stepping into various roles as needed to ensure smooth clinical and administrative workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day practice operations, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow management Manage human resources functions, including hiring support, onboarding, and employee relations Conduct and coordinate employee performance reviews Serve as administrative assistant to the physician practice owner Assist with billing oversight, including: Monitoring performance of outsourced billing company Participating in weekly calls to review collections, claims, and overall billing success Ensuring accuracy and accountability in revenue cycle processes Ensure Medicare and Medicaid credentialing is current for physicians and the ASC Coordinate with CIN for outsourced private insurance credentialing Provide coverage and support in various office roles during staff absences (e.g., front desk, clinical flow, administrative tasks)
Position Requirements:
Prior experience in medical practice management required (ophthalmology experience preferred) Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Ability to function in a hands-on role and adapt to evolving practice needs Familiarity with billing processes and revenue cycle oversight
Schedule Options:
Full-time preferred, Monday through Friday No weekends or Saturdays Benefits (for full-time employees): Paid Time Off (PTO) Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Profit sharing This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader seeking a stable, long-term role within a well-established and growing ophthalmology practice.
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
