This vital role combines strong leadership, financial acumen, and clinical management to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care and efficient office performance. You will oversee administrative functions, manage staff, and coordinate with dental professionals to create a welcoming environment that promotes both patient satisfaction and team success. Responsibilities Supervise daily office operations, including appointment scheduling, patient check-in/out, and billing processes using dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft. Oversee fiscal management activities including budgeting, financial reporting, and revenue cycle management to ensure profitability and sustainability. Manage human resources functions by recruiting, training, evaluating staff performance, and fostering a positive team environment aligned with HIPAA regulations and healthcare standards. Ensure compliance with medical records protocols, medical terminology accuracy, and adherence to HIPAA privacy laws across all documentation and electronic health record (EHR) systems . Coordinate with dental professionals on clinical workflows, ensuring efficient patient flow while maintaining high standards of care. Monitor clinic supplies inventory, equipment maintenance, and facility safety protocols to support smooth operations. Implement policies for managed care contracts, insurance claims processing, and billing procedures to optimize revenue streams. Skills Proven experience in Dental office management demonstrating strong leadership and supervisory skills. Expertise in dental practice management software Open Dental. Knowledge of dental terminology, dental records management, HIPAA compliance, and OSHA healthcare regulations. Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with staff, patients, insurance providers, and external vendors. Ability to handle complex administrative tasks related to medical administrative support, human resources functions, and clinic operations efficiently. Experience in managing clinical workflows in busy dental environments with a focus on quality patient care.
