In this pivotal role, you will drive efficiency, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and foster a positive environment for staff and patients alike. Your leadership will be instrumental in managing financial performance, optimizing patient care workflows, and maintaining high standards of medical administrative support. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of clinic or practice operations, including patient scheduling, staff supervision, and administrative workflows Manage fiscal responsibilities such as budgeting, financial management, and billing processes using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic, or eClinicalWorks Supervise medical office staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and human resources functions Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as
HIPAA, JCAHO
standards, and utilization management protocols Coordinate with clinical teams to optimize patient care delivery in acute care or hospital environments Oversee medical records management, medical terminology accuracy, and documentation standards Implement office management best practices to improve efficiency and patient satisfaction while maintaining a positive work environment Requirements Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare management with a strong background in clinic or dental office settings Demonstrated supervisory experience leading teams within medical or dental practices Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic, eClinicalWorks or similar platforms Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records handling, HIPAA compliance, and healthcare regulations like JCAHO standards Strong fiscal management skills including budgeting and financial oversight Experience with medical administrative support functions such as billing, coding (including managed care), and utilization management Background in nursing or acute care environments is highly desirable; veterinary or hospital experience is a plus Excellent organizational skills combined with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently Join us to lead a vibrant practice where your expertise will shape exceptional patient experiences while fostering a collaborative team environment.
