This position interacts with the providers and staff in all areas of the practice as well as with external partners including patients, families, vendors, outside accountants, I.T. support and business partners. Requires 4+ years of hands-on experience in medical practice operations, all aspects of credentialing, medical billing and revenue cycle management, skills in personnel management and familiarity with QuickBooks, outside payroll companies and banking. The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to: Overseeing the front desk, insurance verification, authorizations, time-of-service collections, coding and charge review, claims submission through clearinghouse, electronic payment posting and support for A/R follow-up and reporting areas Credentialing and licensing renewals with hospitals and third-party payers Implementing office policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance with healthcare regulatory requirements Strong people skills including the ability to maintain excellent relations with hospitals and families. Assisting in establishing a culture of excellent customer service and patient centered care including addressing patient issues in a timely and supportive manner Leadership of personnel functions to include overseeing outside payroll, supervision of personnel and staff development. Overall ability to manage a variety of operational and financial responsibilities and contribute to building an efficient, patient-centered atmosphere.
Qualifications :
4- years' experience in a medical practice Exceptional organizational skills Pediatric or Primary Care specialty experience a plus Associate or bachelor's degree a plus. Excellent opportunity for a results-oriented individual who enjoys being hands-on. Competitive Compensation and Benefits!
