Job Description

Office Manager-clinic Job Summary:
The Office Manager manages all facets of and coordinates business office operations for WRH Therapy Services including Batesville, Cherokee Village and Melbourne Outpatient Therapy Services. The office manager functions as an important member of the Rehab Services Management Team, assisting the Outpatient Therapy Director in all phases of operation of WRH Outpatient Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy Services. Works closely with the Director of Outpatient Therapy Services and is able to provide reports and information regarding Rehabilitation Services.
Job Duties:
Coordinates all Business Operations for WRH Rehabilitation Services. Directly supervises all clerical personnel employed by Rehabilitation Services and is familiar with and can perform any task described in their job descriptions. Is familiar with and able to use all the modules of the computer system; and any other standard office equipment that is acquired by Rehabilitation Services. Manages all office staff's mandatory competencies for completion annually. Payroll with KRONOS. Oversees cash receipts from Payer sources.
Marketing and Recruitment:
Coordinates Women's Health Expo and assists with recruitment activities for rehab personnel. Assists ATCs as needed with organization of events, and other marketing ideas as needed. Maintains records and statistical data. Positive Behavior/WRH Values and Employee Expectations.
Productivity and Efficient Operations:
budget, billing/coding, fee schedule revise/update, new employee orientation, orders or oversees ordering of supplies and strive to control inventory levels. Accepts and performs other assigned duties with a positive attitude, as requested and documented by the director. Attends all mandatory in-services within the hospital or department, which might apply. Performs other duties as assigned by supervision.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. College degree in business a plus.
Training and Experience:
Five (5) years clerical experience. Supervisory experience preferred but not necessary.
Job Knowledge:
Medical terminology; strong written and verbal communication skills. Oral and written ability necessary to communicate with co-workers. Good communication skills. Good organizational skills with ability to maintain variety of records.
Essentials:
Must be able to report to work fit for duty and free of any adverse effects of illegal drugs, medical marijuana, prescription medication, and/or alcohol. Must be able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing with other individuals.
Physical Demands :
Job responsibilities require a considerable amount of physical work. Must have no restrictions in lifting, bending, reaching or stooping necessary to transfer patients or equipment.
