Full Job Description Job Description Summary:
Practice Office Manager A family-owned practice for more than 40 years, Bailey & Wright Dentistry is seeking a full-time, motivated team player to manage our well-established private practice. The Office Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth and cohesive functions of the practice for both staff and patients. He/she will support and implement effective management systems to ensure practice goals are met and that exceptional patient care is always delivered. Responsibilities The primary areas of focus for the Office Manager include Practice Management; Accounts Receivable; Team Management and Human Resources; Education and Training; Marketing Initiatives; Statistical Tracking; Equipment Management; and Patient Care Results. Work with the dentists/owners to establish annual practice goals Consistently monitor the set goals, and stay proactive in solutions to create results Schedule and support facilitation of routine meetings for all office staff Track treatment plans and patient follow through with proposed treatment Work together with the front office team to track Accounts Receivable reports and Insurance Aging reports to ensure office collections are up-to-date and on track Negotiate network fees with insurance providers Conduct interviews and oversee hiring of new team members in collaboration with dentists Implement and facilitate new employee orientation protocol Organize training for all new staff and support cross-training for all existing team members Conduct performance reviews of all team members and collaborate with dentists Oversee personnel policies and maintain employee handbook policies Take feedback from patients and address any concerns Spearhead team building activities and events at least once a quarter Track employee PTO days and to ensure coverage when a staff member is out of the office Update all office literature as needed and facilitate the scheduling of any trainings regarding new techniques, appliances, and trends in the dental profession Coordinate marketing strategies to specifically increase social media presence Provide data reports to track practice statistics through Dentrix; provide monthly and yearly comparisons Coordinate software updates, equipment updates and installation of new programs Ensure all office and clinical equipment is effectively maintained Compliance with all company policies and procedures, including confidentiality and HIPAA and OSHA guidelines, at all times Perform other duties as required or assigned Qualifications Exhibits strong knowledge of dental practice management Education specific to office management and/or prior management experience Minimum five years' experience in general or specialty dentistry At least two years in a supervisory role Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Motivate and inspire team members to maintain an effective work environment Ability to multitask and still complete tasks in designated timeframes Exhibit a professional demeanor, even under stress Ability to manage conflict and work towards a solution Consistently maintain an outgoing and friendly attitude with both patients and the dental team Ensure that patient and dental team needs are always a top priority Bailey & Wright Dentistry offers a competitive benefits package.
