This role plays a critical part in practice management, dental billing, insurance verification, scheduling, patient relations, and financial performance . Core Responsibilities Manage day-to-day operations of a busy dental office Oversee front office administration, scheduling, and patient flow Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production, collections, and performance metrics Lead, coach, and supervise administrative and support staff Handle staffing schedules, timekeeping, shift changes, and call-offs Perform chart audits and ensure accurate clinical and financial documentation Serve as primary contact for patient financial coordination and treatment plan presentation Maximize case acceptance and patient retention Address patient concerns, complaints, and service recovery Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and CDC regulations Oversee insurance verification, claims submission, pre-authorizations, and follow-ups Maintain accurate billing, posting of payments, and cash management procedures Coordinate office supplies, equipment maintenance, and vendor relationships Conduct daily huddles and participate in team meetings Train, onboard, and mentor new team members Qualifications Associate Degree or equivalent experience in dental practice management 2-5+ years of experience as a Dental Office Manager, Practice Manager, or Practice Administrator Strong knowledge of dental insurance, billing, claims, and patient accounts Experience with dental scheduling and billing software Proven leadership and staff management skills Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service abilities Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused dental environment Flexible availability, including evenings or weekends as needed Why This Role Stands Out Leadership opportunity in a growing dental practice High level of autonomy and operational responsibility Performance-based bonus potential Supportive, team-oriented work environment
