This role is responsible for overseeing provider productivity, ensuring adherence to the company's practice model, and driving accountability through performance management and KPI (Key Performance Indicator) oversight. The Practice Operations Manager will work closely with clinical leadership and executive leadership to improve operational consistency, provider engagement, and overall practice performance. This individual will lead and participate in provider KPI meetings, identify operational improvement opportunities, and help execute strategic initiatives that support organizational growth and quality outcomes. Key Responsibilities Provider Operations & Performance Management Monitor and evaluate provider productivity, efficiency, and utilization metrics. Ensure providers are adhering to established clinical and operational practice models. Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement related to provider performance. Partner with providers and leadership to develop action plans that improve operational outcomes and accountability. Support onboarding and ongoing operational training for providers. KPI Oversight & Reporting Lead and facilitate provider KPI meetings on a recurring basis. Prepare and present performance dashboards, operational reports, and provider scorecards. Analyze key operational metrics including productivity, scheduling efficiency, patient access, documentation compliance, and quality indicators. Collaborate with leadership to establish benchmarks and performance expectations. Track follow-up items and ensure accountability for operational improvement initiatives. Operational Leadership Serve as a liaison between providers, operations leadership, and executive leadership. Ensure consistency in operational execution across practices and providers. Support strategic initiatives focused on growth, efficiency, and provider engagement. Participate in operational planning and special projects as assigned. Collaboration & Communication Communicate operational expectations clearly and professionally. Escalate operational concerns and performance issues to leadership when appropriate. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred. Clinical compliance experience. 3-5+ years of healthcare operations, practice management, or provider performance management experience. Experience working with provider productivity metrics and KPI reporting strongly preferred. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Ability to lead meetings, influence stakeholders, and manage multiple priorities effectively. Proficiency with EMR systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Skills Experience in multi-site healthcare operations. Knowledge of healthcare quality metrics and operational best practices. Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable operational strategies. Strong project management and process improvement capabilities. What Success Looks Like Providers consistently meet productivity and operational expectations. KPI meetings drive measurable accountability and improvement. Operational workflows are standardized and effectively executed. Leadership receives timely, accurate, and actionable performance reporting. Providers and staff remain aligned with the organization's practice model and operational goals.
