The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus, a part of a rich legacy of compassionate care since 1909, now offers 378 licensed beds, a history of innovation, and strong community support. Responsibilities The Practice Manager manages business operations and personnel for the Heart and Vascular Center including the Cardiology and CT Surgery Provider Clinics, Cardiac Rehabilitation and Cardiac Testing which includes areas of insurance, coding, compliance, scheduling of procedures, and departmental collaboration. Coordinates billing, accounts receivable, supply ordering, cost analysis and is responsible for payroll monitoring and reporting. Assists with the credentialing process for HVC and outreach locations and coordinates activities with other departments and participates in obtaining and maintaining qualified personnel. Responsible for environmental control of area.
Qualifications Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Health Care Administration, or related field.
A minimum of 2+ years of practice management experience.
Current knowledge of physician clinic operations.
Strong problem solving, multitasking and customer service skills.
Demonstrated leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to use computers and Microsoft Programs (word, excel, etc.).
Preferred Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
Licensed Registered Nurse.
Strong business experience.
Previous experience with coding and billing procedures.
Familiarity with medical terminology.
