Confidential Veterinary Practice Job Summary A privately operated veterinary practice in Madison County, Kentucky area is seeking an experienced Veterinary Practice Manager to help lead daily hospital operations, support the medical team, manage staff workflows, and maintain a high standard of client and patient care. This position requires prior leadership experience in veterinary medicine. The ideal candidate is organized, calm under pressure, comfortable holding team members accountable, and able to balance staff needs, client service, inventory control, scheduling, and hospital efficiency. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands the pace, pressure, and standards of a busy veterinary practice. Key Responsibilities The Veterinary Practice Manager will help oversee daily operations, including: Staff scheduling and coverage planning Ordering, inventory control, and supply management Team communication and accountability Conflict resolution between staff members, clients, and departments Supporting doctors, technicians, assistants, and client service staff Maintaining efficient patient flow and client service Helping enforce hospital policies, standards, and procedures Identifying operational problems and helping implement solutions Monitoring staff performance and helping coach team members Supporting a professional, respectful, team-oriented workplace culture Required Qualifications Qualified candidates must have: At least 3 years of leadership experience in veterinary medicine Experience managing or assisting with staff scheduling Experience with ordering and inventory management Strong conflict-resolution skills Strong communication and organizational skills A high level of veterinary medical knowledge and practical hospital experience Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced clinical environment Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Dependability, good judgment, and attention to detail Preferred Experience Preference may be given to candidates with experience as a: Veterinary Practice Manager Veterinary Hospital Manager Lead Veterinary Technician Veterinary Team Lead Veterinary Client Service Supervisor Inventory Manager in a veterinary setting Compensation This position pays $20.00 per hour , depending on experience and qualifications.
