Overview Join our dynamic veterinary healthcare team as a Veterinary Hospital Manager, where your leadership will drive excellence in animal care and operational efficiency. This pivotal role combines medical office management with strategic oversight, ensuring our hospital delivers top-tier veterinary services while fostering a positive environment for staff and clients alike. Duties Oversee daily hospital operations, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation to ensure smooth workflow and exceptional patient care Manage medical administrative support functions such as medical records, billing, and compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations Supervise veterinary and support staff, providing coaching, performance evaluations, and fostering professional development Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) DayForce, Vetter to maintain accurate patient records and facilitate efficient clinic operations Coordinate financial management activities including budgeting, billing processes, and managed care contracts to optimize revenue streams Ensure adherence to healthcare standards such as OSHA regulations for a safe hospital environment Lead human resources initiatives including hiring, training, and maintaining a positive workplace culture that promotes teamwork and high morale Implement clinic policies related to acute care, critical care procedures, and dental or veterinary specialty services to uphold clinical excellence Monitor hospital performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic solutions Requirements Proven experience in medical office management within a healthcare or veterinary setting; clinic experience strongly preferred Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and EMR/EHR systems such as Dayforce, Vetter Familiarity with fiscal management practices including budgeting, financial analysis, and revenue cycle management Experience with human resources functions including hiring practices, staff development, and conflict resolution Knowledge of healthcare regulations such as HIPAA compliance and standards is essential Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Ability to communicate clearly with staff members at all levels and foster a collaborative team atmosphere This role offers an exciting opportunity for energetic leaders who are eager to shape the future of veterinary healthcare. $48,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
