The Lead Medical Assistant is an allied health professional who works closely with clinical and administrative leadership across one or more practices. This role combines hands-on clinical excellence with mentorship and team support.

MA Certificate (preferred)Associate's Degree in Medical AssistingEMT or PCT experienceNursing student (with at least one clinical rotation)Home health aide experiencePhysician assistant program candidateStrong customer service and interpersonal skills with patients, families, staff, and providersAbility and willingness to mentor, train, and guide othersExperience with computer systems and web‑based applications required (Epic experience a plus)Current CPR certificationPhlebotomy skills helpful

- Perform all core Medical Assistant duties with demonstrated proficiency in assigned clinical responsibilities

Job Description:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Support:
Serve as a role model and mentor, providing support, training, guidance, and knowledge-sharing to Medical Assistants, student externs, and other non‑licensed staff across assigned practice(s)Provide direction and oversight related to compliance and regulatory matters, escalating concerns to the Practice Manager as appropriateSupport team members through workflow, technology, and process changesPartner with Practice Manager(s) to identify and address training needs, promoting a safe environment for delivering and receiving carePractice & Operational Support:
Act as a lead resource in daily office operationsResearch, prioritize, and follow up on incoming issues addressed to the Practice Manager, including sensitive and confidential mattersCollaborate closely with the Practice Manager or designee to determine appropriate actions, referrals, or responsesServe as a liaison with administrative and clinical staff across MAH departments, as requestedSupport and help maintain patient accessMinimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required2-3 years of experience demonstrating proficiency in all areas of Medical AssistingDemonstrated MA competencies: (preferred):MA Certificate (preferred)Associate's Degree in Medical AssistingEMT or PCT experienceNursing student (with at least one clinical rotation)Home health aide experiencePhysician assistant program candidateStrong customer service and interpersonal skills with patients, families, staff, and providersAbility and willingness to mentor, train, and guide othersExperience with computer systems and web‑based applications required (Epic experience a plus)Current CPR certificationPhlebotomy skills helpful
Pay Range:
$23.15- $31.
