This is not a traditional box office role. We\'re building a guest-forward, concierge-style experience where every interaction - from ticket purchase to final credits -feels thoughtful & elevated. The Box Office Manager sets that tone. You\'ll be the steady hand during a quiet weekday matinee & the confident leader when the lobby is full & the line is out the door. Nights, weekends, & holidays are when we shine & when your leadership matters most. What You\'ll Do Lead, schedule, & develop a high-performing front-of-house team Serve as the primary point of contact for guest needs & issue resolution Oversee ticketing, cash handling, & reporting accuracy Keep operations seamless across box office, concessions, & projection Monitor presentation quality (picture, sound, timing) & troubleshoot as needed Support special screenings, events, & community partnerships Reinforce theater standards with professionalism & tact Must-Haves Experience managing & scheduling staff Background in hospitality, guest services, or events Calm, confident leadership under pressure Strong communication & problem-solving skills Comfortable with computers & light technical troubleshooting Familiarity with Google Workspace Availability for nights, weekends, & holidays Nice-to-Haves Experience with POS or ticketing systems Background in design or video editing (Adobe, Premiere, Final Cut, etc.) A genuine love of film Who This Is For Someone who takes pride in exceptional guest experiences, leads by example, notices the details that elevate a space, & wants to be part of a mission-driven organization with deep community roots.
