Job Description
Opticians 3 is a luxury eyewear boutique with strong roots in the neighborhood for over 30 years. We are part of a nationwide leading luxury optical retailer, providing concierge style services to our clients. We work with high end luxury brands, including Cartier, Chrome Hearts, Maybach, JMM & we specialize in frames made from buffalo horn. We do not work with vision insurance. Basic qualifications:
A current Massachusetts license or an action plan to become licensed in MA is preferred Experience managing in a high-volume optical store is preferred At least 1 year working with high end/luxury frames is preferred Ability to maintain a flexible schedule and able to work evenings & weekends Desire to be a part of a stellar team and drive the business forward Proficient in Microsoft Office Experience with Eye Cloud Pro preferred Self-motivated with a drive for continual learning and improvement Strong organizational skills Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Manage day-to-day duties in store with a small staff of 3-4 other licensed opticians/associates Create and implement weekly, monthly & quarterly action plans for success Deliver day-to-day guidance and oversight of store associates to achieve sales goals; actively works to promote and recognize performance Provide weekly sales/performance reporting to corporate team Collaborate with other store managers and corporate on best practices, success strategies, new company initiatives, etc. Think creatively to offer clients multiple ways to shop at your store Maintain a high level of communication within the store team and with corporate Create and manage associate schedules Enforce store policies & procedures with all associates Coordinates with management and HR to conduct annual performance reviews and provide disciplinary performance management as needed Other duties as assigned Serve as the technical and service leader for the store by personally demonstrating the following competencies while training, coaching, and holding the team accountable for consistently executing them: Demonstrate exceptional product knowledge and accurately communicate the features and benefits of our lens offerings Educate clients on innovative optical technology to meet their visual and lifestyle needs Take and record accurate optical measurements and ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements Dispense eyewear and perform precise frame adjustments
