Job Summary Join Our Team We are seeking a dynamic and collaborative Practice Manager to lead the daily operations of a physician practice and support an exceptional patient and employee experience. This role combines operational leadership, staff development, and process improvement to ensure efficient practice performance while fostering a positive, high-performing team environment. The Practice Manager serves as a key member of the leadership team, partnering with clinical and administrative leaders to drive operational excellence, staff engagement, and continuous improvement. Summary The Practice Manager is responsible for the operational management of a single-site practice or a smaller multi-site practice (three or more locations). This role provides direct supervision to administrative and clinical support staff, oversees day-to-day practice operations, and ensures efficient workflow, staffing, and compliance. As a member of the leadership team, the Practice Manager provides cross-coverage support and helps address staffing, operational, and service-related challenges across the practice. Essential Responsibilities Lead and oversee the daily operations of the practice, ensuring efficient workflows, high-quality service, and a positive experience for patients and staff. Directly supervise administrative and clinical support staff, including scheduling, performance management, and workforce planning. Assess daily staffing needs and coordinate coverage to ensure continuity of operations and patient access. Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and evaluate staff while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and professional growth. Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities to support employee performance and career advancement. Ensure staff compliance with organizational policies, mandatory education requirements, HIPAA regulations, and other applicable standards. Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and implement systems, processes, and best practices that enhance practice performance. Monitor and analyze operational, financial, and performance metrics to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement. Partner with practice and departmental leadership on annual budgeting, resource planning, and operational forecasting. Oversee payroll administration, resolve payroll-related issues, and ensure accurate timekeeping practices. Monitor patient billing workflows and support compliance with revenue cycle and financial procedures. Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to address operational challenges, implement strategic initiatives, and support organizational goals. Provide leadership coverage and operational support as needed to ensure seamless practice operations. Qualifications Demonstrated leadership experience in a healthcare, medical practice, or similar operational environment. Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills. Ability to manage competing priorities and lead effectively in a fast-paced setting. Experience with staffing, employee relations, performance management, and operational oversight. Proficiency with practice management systems, payroll processes, and operational reporting preferred. Entry-Level Manager
