Overview We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Lead Dental Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess extensive dental office management experience, demonstrate strong leadership skills, and have a thorough understanding of healthcare administrative processes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team while ensuring smooth clinic operations and exceptional patient care. Duties Supervise and coordinate all administrative activities within the dental practice, including scheduling, patient intake, and billing processes. Manage fiscal responsibilities such as budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation to optimize clinic profitability. Oversee medical records management, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining accurate documentation using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems like Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or eClinicalWorks. Provide leadership in human resources functions including staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution. Collaborate with clinical staff to streamline clinic workflows and improve patient experience while maintaining compliance with JCAHO standards and other healthcare regulations. Monitor clinic operations related to acute care, managed care plans, and utilization management to ensure efficient service delivery. Implement policies for medical administrative support functions such as medical terminology accuracy, medical records handling, and office management procedures. Qualifications Proven experience in medical office management or dental office experience with supervisory responsibilities. Strong background in fiscal management, budgeting, and financial oversight within healthcare settings. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Dentrix is required. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising healthcare teams or administrative staff. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, medical terminology, and medical records management practices. Excellent organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in dental clinics or healthcare facilities .
