The ideal candidate will serve as the central point of contact for patients undergoing dental implant reconstruction, ensuring they are educated, motivated, and supported throughout their entire treatment process.
Key Responsibilities Patient Consultation:
Accompany surgeon during patient consultations.Patient Education & Counseling:
Guide patients through the dental implant process, explaining treatment plans, timelines, and surgical procedures clearly.Case Management & Coordination:
Maintain treatment tracking system, including coordinating pre-op appointments, medical clearances, scheduling surgeries, and follow up with patients.Financial Counseling:
Present treatment plans, discuss costs, and process financing options/insurance claims to secure treatment acceptance.Liaison Duties:
Act as the primary link between the patient, our oral surgeons, and referring restorative dentists.Follow-Up:
Consistently follow up with new leads and active patients to move them toward treatment completion.Required Qualifications & Skills Experience:
Minimum 1-3 years of oral surgery, periodontics, or dental implantology experience.Knowledge:
Strong understanding of dental terminology, surgical procedures, and treatment sequencing.Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.Software Proficiency:
Experience with dental practice management software (e.g., WinOMS, Dentrix, OMSVision) and digital imaging.Organizational Skills:
High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Background in dental assisting or specialized certification in implant coordination. Strong understanding of dental insurance and ability to explain insurance benefits and covered services.Pay:
