This energetic professional will drive excellence in medical office management, staff supervision, financial oversight, and client service. As a key leader, you will ensure the clinic runs smoothly, maintains compliance with healthcare regulations, and provides outstanding care to our animal patients. Your expertise will foster a positive work environment, optimize practice efficiency, and support the overall growth of the veterinary facility. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of clinic operations, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation to maximize productivity and client satisfaction Oversee fiscal management activities such as budgeting, financial reporting, billing processes, and expense control using systems like Eaglesoft or eClinicalWorks Supervise medical administrative support staff, nurses, and other team members to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient workflow Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations including
HIPAA, JCAHO
standards, and utilization management protocols Coordinate medical records management utilizing EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems with accuracy and confidentiality Implement human resources policies related to hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development in accordance with clinic guidelines Oversee medical office functions such as appointment scheduling, patient intake procedures, billing, and insurance claims processing with tools like Dentrix or Epic Ensure clinic adheres to safety standards for acute care and hospital experience environments while fostering a culture of continuous improvement Requirements Certified Veterinary Practice Manager credential or equivalent certification demonstrating expertise in veterinary practice management Proven experience in medical office management within veterinary or healthcare settings with strong supervisory skills Extensive knowledge of fiscal management including budgeting, financial management, and managed care processes Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as eClinicalWorks or Eaglesoft; familiarity with Dentrix or Epic is highly desirable Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, HIPAA compliance, and healthcare regulations (JCAHO standards preferred) Experience supervising teams in busy clinical environments such as dental clinics or hospitals with acute or critical care components Excellent organizational skills combined with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced setting Join us as a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager where your leadership will make a meaningful difference!
