Job Description

The Advance Practice Practitioner (APP) Supervisor role at Central City Health provides clinical and administrative leadership to nurse practitioners (NPs) and physician assistants (PAs) within an integrated healthcare model. This role ensures high-quality, patient-centered care across multidisciplinary teams, including primary care, behavioral health, and specialty services. The APP Supervisor supports clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and professional development while promoting collaboration across care settings. The APP Supervisor will practice primary care in our clinics alongside their provider colleagues. Education & Experience Master's degree in nursing required Valid Michigan licensure as a Certified Nurse Practitioner required 1 to 2 years of nursing leadership experience in a public health/integrated health setting or primary care Experience working with patients exhibiting severe and persistent mental illness preferred Experience with addiction medicine, specifically substance use disorders (SUD) required. Basic Life Support certification required; ACLS preferred Must meet all Continuing Education requirements Must be able to work cooperatively with staff and others involved in the delivery of service to patients Must be comfortable with community outreach/working with patients exhibiting severe and persistent mental illness Experience in managing multiple tasks simultaneously and meeting critical deadlines Must maintain confidentiality relating to treatment in accordance with HIPAA guidelines Please email your resume to jobs@centralcityhealth.com
