In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily front desk activities, manage guest relations, and ensure smooth communication between departments. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the front desk team to ensure efficient check-in and check-out processes, maintaining high standards of hospitality management. Oversee guest services, ensuring all guests receive personalized attention and prompt assistance with inquiries or requests. Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and clear communication skills in multiple languages if applicable. Coordinate night audit procedures to reconcile daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with hotel policies. Handle guest complaints or issues swiftly, turning challenges into positive experiences through effective guest relations strategies. Maintain a thorough understanding of hotel management systems to facilitate reservations, billing, and reporting functions seamlessly. Support the recruitment, training, and development of front desk staff to uphold service excellence across all touchpoints. Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and operational efficiency within the resort environment. Qualifications Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel management roles, with a strong background in front desk operations. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse clientele effectively; bilingual candidates will have an advantage. Experience with night audit procedures and familiarity with hotel management software systems. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing reservations, guest requests, and administrative tasks. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, complemented by proficiency in phone etiquette and multi-line phone systems. Knowledge of guest services standards within a resort or hotel setting is preferred. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
