Job Description

Position Overview Children's Therapy Corner, a pediatric rehabilitation center, is seeking a highly organized and motivated Practice Manager for our Family Navigation Services (FNS) Department to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic office environment. This role is responsible for overseeing intake, scheduling, patient verification, and financial clearance processes to ensure efficient operations and a seamless patient experience. The FNS Practice Manager leads the Family Navigation Services team, monitors key performance indicators (KPIs), and drives improvements in workflow, compliance, and overall operational effectiveness across the full patient access lifecycle—from referral through the first day of treatment. This position also collaborates with practice managers across multiple sites and plays a key role in daily clinic operations, data analysis, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee Master clinic scheduling, intake processes, insurance verification, and insurance authorizations processes for 4 locations Support the needs of families and ensure a high-quality customer experience Manage day-to-day site operations while collaborating with managers at other locations Monitor and act on KPIs to improve operational performance Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (including HIPAA) Assist with marketing initiatives and community engagement efforts Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement process improvements Lead, train, and support team members to optimize performance Track, analyze, and report clinic performance metrics, including: Caseloads Productivity Cancellation rates Intake benchmarks
Authorizations Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred (or 3-5 years of equivalent healthcare experience) Strong leadership and team management abilities Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and resolve discrepancies Knowledge of insurance verification, authorizations, and denial management preferred Proficiency with: EMR systems Scheduling tools Microsoft Office (data tracking and reporting)
