An Office Manager's main responsibility is to ensure that the practice runs smoothly and efficiently, as well as to provide leadership and direction to the staff. Job Summary An Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a dental practice. A key responsibility of this position is to manage the day-to-day operations of the dental office, including, but not limited to, patient flow, goal attainment, staff training, and daily office operations. Coordinates the dentist's office with the employees. Assist with general office duties as needed.Tasks and responsibilities:
Conduct an evaluation and review of office procedures and productions in order to improve the efficiency of the office. Manage the financial and administrative aspects of the practice, including billing, record-keeping, and budgeting. Develops and implements marketing strategies and manages the practice's online presence for marketing and promotion. Improve office operations, patient retention, and profitability by developing and recommending programs. Maintain efficient staffing levels, recruit, retain, and terminate employees as needed. Make sure all office personnel carry out their responsibilities in a smooth and efficient manner.Maintaining equipment and supplies:
Ensures that the practice has the necessary supplies and equipment.Responding to complaints from patients:
Dental office managers may be accountable for dealing with complaints and concerns from patients, and resolving issues as they arise. Good interpersonal skills to maintain effective rapport with patients, dentists, other staff members and community.
