The Practice Manager will be responsible for providing leadership and direction of clinical and administrative operational activities within the orthopedic practice. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated leader, with a proven record of leading a multi-faceted team, in healthcare, towards achieving an organization's vision, mission, and goals. Healthcare manager should be results driven and participate in decision making that produces high-quality results. Candidate must be willing to travel between locations as needed.
Essential Responsibilities:
Ensure that departments are staffed appropriately Monitor staff performance in compliance with established timeframes Track and manage operational data Develop and implement tactical work plans to support the goals and objectives of the organization Participate as needed as a member of various committees related to the overall improvement of the practice Regularly interface with providers, managers, and staff to assist to facilitate communication and improvement activities Support, understand, and promote our mission, vision, values, policies, and procedures Foster respectful working relationships with professional colleagues, patients, families, and general public regardless of age, gender, lifestyle, culture, beliefs, race, socioeconomic class, or ability Strong verbal and communication skills Conceptual analysis and the resolution skills to deal with complex problems and situations The position provides oversight to Patient Registration, Radiologic Technologists, Athletic Trainers, Medical Assistants, Physical and Occupational Therapist and Orthopedic Technologist.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Athletic Training, Healthcare Administration, or related field with 5-8 years of experience in a leadership role is desirable Proven track record in providing clinical leadership to ensure positive patient experiences General clinic policies and procedures Effective personnel management including training staff and delegating duties in a clinic practice setting
