Description of Work:
The Nebraska Veterinary Diagnostic Center ( NVDC ) employs state-of-the-art testing procedures to provide disease surveillance and diagnostic services to veterinarians, livestock producers, pet owners and researchers. As a Vet Diagnostic Center Office Associate, you will: Receive samples from clients and answer inquiries regarding lab services and refer to appropriate staff as necessary Complete data entry of client/clinic information and verify billing of tests performed Perform client outreach through newsletter generation, email notification and maintenance of NVDC website Perform general office duties, including assisting the Quality Assurance manager with various tasks as needed Due to the nature of the work, experience with medical and/or veterinary terminology is preferred but not required. Minimum Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent plus four (4) years of related experience. Additional relevant education may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis. Working knowledge of general office practices and office equipment. Experience with PC-based word processing and the ability to learn different software programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
The following qualifications are preferred but not required: Experience working in a medical or veterinary office.

$18.80/hr minimum
