We are seeking an experienced and motivated Medical Billing Manager to lead our billing department and support the financial success of our growing practice. Position Summary The Medical Billing Manager is responsible for overseeing all billing and coding operations, including claims submission, payment posting, accounts receivable follow-up, denial management, credentialing, and staff supervision. This role ensures accurate billing, regulatory compliance, and efficient revenue cycle management. Key Responsibilities Manage daily billing, coding, claims, collections, and accounts receivable activities. Review and resolve claim denials, appeals, and reimbursement issues. Monitor billing performance and prepare reports for management. Ensure compliance with payer requirements, billing regulations, and industry standards. Oversee physician credentialing and payer enrollment. Supervise, train, and support billing staff. Identify and implement process improvements to maximize revenue and efficiency. Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and all patient privacy and confidentiality requirements. Qualifications Medical Coding Certification (CPC, CCS, COC, or equivalent) preferred. Minimum 3 years of medical billing and coding experience ; OB/GYN experience strongly preferred. Supervisory or management experience preferred. Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, insurance claims, denials, appeals, and revenue cycle management. Experience with medical records, accounts receivable follow-up, and insurance verification. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and healthcare compliance requirements. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and Microsoft Office. Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
