Veterinary Nursing Supervisor - Specialty & Emergency Services

The Role As a Veterinary Technician Supervisor, you will lead one of our specialty or acute-care departments, overseeing technicians and assistants working in clinically demanding, high-stakes environments. This role is for someone who: Is already a go-to technician Leads through competence, consistency, and presence Thinks in systems, not just shifts Balances patient care excellence with team sustainability Is comfortable making decisions and holding standards You will not be micromanaged. You will be expected to lead. What You'll Be Responsible For Leading, coaching, and developing technicians within your assigned department Setting and enforcing clinical, behavioral, and operational standards Partnering closely with specialists, ER clinicians, and hospital leadership Overseeing onboarding, training, and progression through defined leveling frameworks Addressing performance concerns early, directly, and fairly Improving workflows, reducing friction, and protecting patient safety Serving as a visible, trusted leader on the floor This is a working leader role. Clinical credibility is non-negotiable.
