On-Site Salary:
$65,000-$75,000 A mission-driven nonprofit organization is seeking an Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of its Brooklyn office and community space. This person will serve as the primary on-site point of contact, ensuring a welcoming, organized, and well-functioning environment for staff, visitors, and community members.
Responsibilities:
Manage daily office operations, supplies, common areas, and vendor relationships Coordinate maintenance requests and serve as liaison to building management Handle bill pay, invoice tracking, and administrative financial tasks Support events, meetings, and community programs, including occasional evening/weekend coverage Maintain calendars, records, website updates, and other operational systems Serve as a key resource for staff, visitors, and external partners
Qualifications:
3+ years of office management, operations, facilities, administrative, or hospitality experience Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Comfortable coordinating vendors, facilities issues, and administrative processes Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and common business applications Professional communication skills and a proactive, service-oriented approach This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on operations professional who enjoys creating an organized, welcoming, and efficient workplace.
