This vital role combines leadership, administrative expertise, and clinical understanding to ensure smooth practice management, exceptional patient care, and compliance with healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong fiscal management skills, and possess comprehensive experience in medical office administration across diverse healthcare settings. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of medical office operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and staff coordination to ensure optimal clinic performance. Manage financial activities such as budgeting, billing, coding, insurance claims processing, and revenue cycle management using systems like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, eClinicalWorks, or Epic. Supervise administrative and clinical staff, providing guidance on human resources policies, training, performance evaluations, and team development. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain the confidentiality of medical records and patient information. Coordinate with healthcare providers on medical management tasks including utilization management, medical records documentation, and clinical workflows. Implement and monitor office policies related to medical administrative support, EMR/EHR systems usage, and clinic procedures to streamline operations. Maintain accurate financial records, oversee billing processes, and support fiscal management initiatives to optimize practice profitability. Facilitate communication between departments to support acute care, hospital experience requirements, or specialized clinics such as dental or veterinary practices as needed. Qualifications Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare administration with a strong background in clinic or hospital settings. Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks. Demonstrated supervisory experience overseeing administrative staff and clinical teams in a healthcare environment. Proficiency in fiscal management including budgeting, financial analysis, billing procedures, and managed care processes. Familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards and experience handling sensitive patient information securely.
