Job Overview Gibney Dental Associates is a patient-centered dental practice committed to providing exceptional care in a welcoming and positive environment. We are looking for an experienced, energetic, and motivated professional to join our team as a Dental Office Manager / Treatment Coordinator . This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in a people-focused environment, enjoys building strong teams, and is passionate about helping patients move forward with treatment. This is a unique hybrid role combining office management, team leadership, and treatment coordination . Because we utilize a third-party company to handle insurance processing and verification, this position is less focused on insurance administration and more focused on people, leadership, communication, and patient experience . We are looking for a true self-starter who can take ownership of the day-to-day operations of the office, lead the team with positivity and accountability, and help patients confidently move forward with their recommended treatment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dental office management, dental clinic experience, and supervisory skills. Your leadership will drive efficiency, foster team collaboration, and uphold the highest standards of patient care from check in to check out. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced dental setting. Compensation commensurate on experience. (Bonuses on top of base pay as well) Responsibilities Oversee daily office operations to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow. Lead, motivate, and support the dental team. Foster a positive, professional, and accountable office culture. Address attendance, punctuality, and performance issues when needed. Conduct team huddles and help keep the office focused on goals. Problem-solve and proactively identify areas for improvement. Support scheduling efficiency and patient flow. Present treatment plans clearly and confidently to patients. Help patients understand the value and importance of recommended care. Build trust and rapport with patients while addressing questions and concerns. Follow up on unscheduled treatment and help increase case acceptance. Coordinate patient care and ensure a seamless patient experience. Maintain accurate documentation and communication regarding treatment plans. What We're Looking For Previous dental office management and/or treatment coordinator experience required. At least 3 years of Dental Experience is required. Strong leadership and team management skills. Positive attitude and high energy. Extensive knowledge of dental clinic operations, including practice management software like Open Dental Proficiency in fiscal management, budgeting, billing procedures, and financial management strategies Familiarity with HIPAA regulations, medical terminology, medical records management, and EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems Ability to understand insurance eligibility and predeterminations Ability to create accurate treatment estimates and present to patients clearly and confidently Excellent communication skills to coordinate treatment plans clearly with patients and team members alike Join us to lead a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding dental care! $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
