You will coordinate all front desk activities, including calls, reservations and guests services. We are looking for a combination of pleasant personality with a dynamic professional attitude to supervise and lead our team. Our ideal candidate can deal efficiently with complaints and has a solid customer service approach. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our front desk provides friendly, professional service to our customers while confidentially handling any complaints or issues. Responsibilities Ensure front desk is tidy and has all necessary materials ( Hire, train, supervise and support front desk agents & night auditors Schedule shifts, ability to cover shifts as necessary due to business levels or absences Weekly forecast for revenue Ensure timely and accurate customer service Handle complaints and specific customers requests efficiently & professionally Participate in weekly management team meetings Work hand in hand with other departments in the hotel, ensuring clear communication between departments Troubleshoot emergencies Keep clear records Ensure company's policies and security requirements are met Skills Proven work experience as a Front Office Manager or Supervisor in a hotel setting Thorough knowledge of customer service, office management and basic bookkeeping procedures Previous IHG experience preferred Experienced with Opera is a must Proficiency in English (oral and written) Solid knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word Excellent communication and people skills Good organizational and multitasking abilities Problem-solving skills High School diploma; additional certification is a plus
