The Program Manager - Office of Peer Recovery and Engagement (OPRE) will: Provide general subject matter expertise to OPRE assigned behavioral Health Programs; Provide oversight to assigned programs which includes, but not limited to reviewing, processing and approving applications, writing letters and technical reports; Provide technical assistance to providers; Conduct site visits to evaluate program performance; Ensure implementation of program goals and outcomes, adherence to state and federal statutes and guidelines; safety and service delivery and monitoring financial and budgetary needs. How does it get done? The Program Manager - OPRE is responsible for: Oversight of the following
OPRE Functions:
General Certification training to applicants of the Certified Peer Support Worker (CPSW) program in New Mexico. OPRE funded Wellness Centers and Federally funded initiatives. Providing oversight to an array of trainings intended to help ensure CPSW's have access to continuing education that promotes ongoing CPSW professional growth and workforce development; Collaborating with other State departments, providers and constituents as needed in regard to

initiatives across New Mexico; Oversight of budget, grants, and contracts, develop and direct program activities. Other tasks and duties as assigned. Who are the customers? Health Care Authority (HCA) and associated Divisions, Providers. Agencies, consumers and constituents of Behavioral Health (BH) services. Ideal Candidate Health Care Authority (HCA) and associated Divisions, Providers. Agencies, consumers and constituents of Behavioral Health (BH) services. Minimum Qualification Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of professional level experience with a tactical impact directly related to the purpose of the position defined by the agency at the time of recruitment. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling six (6) years may substitute for the required education and experience. Employment Requirements Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license. Must obtain a Defensive driving certification. Working Conditions Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT), extensive personal computer and phone usage with extended periods of sitting.
