Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Dental Office Manager to lead the daily operations of our busy dental practice. This pivotal role combines leadership, administrative expertise, and clinical understanding to ensure seamless practice management. The ideal candidate will oversee staff supervision, financial oversight, patient relations, and compliance with healthcare regulations. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day clinic operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient service Supervise dental office staff, including front desk personnel, dental assistants, and hygienists, fostering teamwork and professional development Oversee fiscal management tasks such as budgeting, billing, coding, and financial reporting using systems like Eaglesoft and Dentrix Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, medical records management, and confidentiality standards across all office activities Coordinate medical administrative support functions including appointment scheduling, patient intake, insurance verification, and claims processing Maintain proficiency in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation Lead human resources activities such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution to build a motivated team Monitor practice performance metrics to optimize utilization management and ensure adherence to JCAHO standards and other regulatory requirements Requirements Proven experience managing a dental or medical office with strong knowledge of dental clinic operations and healthcare management principles Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively Proficiency in dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix; experience with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks is highly desirable Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, HIPAA compliance, and healthcare regulations Skilled in fiscal management including budgeting, financial analysis, managed care processes, and billing procedures Background in medical administrative support roles within clinics or hospitals; experience with acute care or hospital settings is advantageous Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of human resources practices related to staff recruitment, training, and development Join us as a Dental Office Manager where your leadership will drive operational success while delivering outstanding patient experiences.
