Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Dental Office Manager, where your leadership and organizational skills will drive the smooth operation of our dental practice. In this vital role, you will oversee daily administrative functions, manage staff, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and optimize practice efficiency. Your expertise in dental office management and fiscal oversight will contribute to delivering exceptional patient care while maintaining a productive and compliant office environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team in a high end dental setting. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and administrative workflows to ensure seamless daily functions. Supervise dental office staff, including receptionists, dental assistants, and hygienists, fostering a positive team environment and promoting professional development. Oversee financial management tasks such as budgeting, billing, coding, insurance claims processing, and revenue cycle management using Oryx dental software. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain the confidentiality of dental records and patient information. Implement human resources policies related to staffing, training, performance evaluations, and employee relations. Monitor clinic performance metrics and utilize data analytics to improve operational efficiency and patient satisfaction. Qualifications Proven experience in dental office management or healthcare administration with familiarity in dental clinic operations. Strong background in fiscal management, budgeting, financial oversight, and revenue cycle processes. Hands-on experience with dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix; we have just switched from Dentrix to Oryx and training will be provided. Supervisory experience leading multidisciplinary teams within a dental setting. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to handle human resources functions including hiring, training, and conflict resolution.
