Because at the end of the day, our central support team exists to serve our practices. So, if you're excited about using your talents to make an impact on the health and wellness of pets - we'd love to talk with you! Job DescriptionThe Veterinary Regional Manager will be responsible for overseeing each individual Practice Manager and leading the hospitals across Alliance Animal Health's network of veterinary hospitals in our growing New York/NJ area (5-6 hospitals at this time). You will work with the Regional Director, the Vice President of Operations, the Veterinary Partner Doctors and Practice Managers to enhance performance at their respective hospitals. You will also work with the Internal Operations team to lead implementation of initiatives and projects at the hospitals in your region.
QualificationsRole & Responsibilities:
Leadership and management:

Directly responsible for overseeing and leading the Practice Managers at each hospital.

Responsible for working directly with the Practice Managers on the operations at the hospital, including staffing, inventory, budgeting, employee and client scheduling, marketing, employee training, and human resources.

Act as a key resource and partner to the managing veterinarian at each location and responsible for building a strong relationship with that doctor. Also responsible for partnering with them on the work you are doing with the practice manager and incorporating their feedback and goals in your work with each practice.

Collaborate with the Senior Regional Manager to review the financial reports with the practice leadership team and develop strategies for each practice.

Responsible for reviewing the non-financial reports (inventory budgets; scheduling budgets) and driving plans of improvement based on the results.

Responsible for the post-acquisition integration process for newly acquired clinics.

Expected to travel to the practices 4 days per week and have 1 office day (but could be at practices 5 days a week as needed).QualificationsStrong communication, team-building and leadership skillsHighly organized and able to manage time effectively3+ years of experience managing multiple locations for a multi-site operator in the veterinary industrySelf-starter that is excited to work in an entrepreneurial environment and can take initiativeStrong analytical skills and experience reviewing budgets and financial statementsProficient with full suite of Microsoft office productsBachelor's degree or equivalent is requiredMust live within the NY/NJ area.
