As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a critical role in ensuring a seamless experience from the initial consultation through post-operative care. This role requires a unique blend of high-level office management, surgical scheduling, and insurance coordination. We strive to provide high level, personalized surgical care to our patients. Responsibilities Ensure the office is prepared for the first patient of the day and maintain a consistent, dependable presence for the staff and doctors. Supervise front desk staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management to ensure a high level of service delivery. Manage patient appointments, confirmations, and cancellations efficiently using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or eClinicalWorks.
Financial Coordination:
Verify insurance benefits and present detailed treatment plans and cost estimates to patients. Coordinate with clinical teams to ensure smooth patient flow and timely communication of treatment plans or procedural updates. Oversee medical administrative support tasks such as maintaining accurate medical records, managing billing and coding processes, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate on staffing needs, employee scheduling, and resolving workplace issues to foster a positive team environment. Skills Strict punctuality and a proven track record of dependability are essential. The ideal candidate understands that their presence is vital to the daily operation of the practice. Minimum of 1-3 years in dental or medical office management (Surgical office experience is a significant plus) .
Team Leadership:
Supervise staff, manage daily workflows, and to work toward practice goals. Experience in EMR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic, or DSN for scheduling, billing, and record keeping. Knowledge of terminology, medical records management, HIPAA compliance, and healthcare regulations. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing medical administrative support tasks. Effective communication skills for interacting professionally with patients, staff, and referring offices.
