Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly organized Dental Office Manager Receptionist to oversee daily administrative operations. This role combines ensuring smooth patient flow, accurate record-keeping, and efficient practice management. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a comprehensive understanding of dental office procedures, and experience in dental settings. Benefit to know Dentrix system. Responsibilities Greet patients professionally, schedule appointments, and manage patient check-in and check-out processes with efficiency and courtesy. Maintain accurate and confidential dental records using electronic health record system such as Dentrix. Coordinate billing, insurance claims processing, and financial transactions. Oversee the management of medical records, ensuring proper documentation, data entry accuracy, and adherence to healthcare regulations. Assist in managing practice operations including supply inventory control, vendor relations, and facility maintenance. Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless workflow between administrative functions and clinical services. Skills Proven experience in dental office management within dental or healthcare environments; familiarity with dental clinic operations is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of Dentrix is a benefit but willing to train. Proficiency in managing medical records, billing procedures, insurance claims processing, and managed care protocols. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations, medical terminology, and healthcare compliance standards such as JCAHO accreditation requirements. Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail; excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, staff, vendors, and insurance providers.
