Job Description

Practice Manager Full-Time URvet Care is seeking dynamic individuals with strong emergency veterinary hospital and management skills that will contribute to our mission of providing the very best, most personalized veterinary care possible while maintaining the highest quality medical standards.
Responsibilities include the abilities to:
Develop and lead our clinic teams (veterinarians, technicians, and assistants). You instill trust and build relationships, ensure accountability, and thrive in a cross-functional environment. Oversee daily clinic operations, implementing strategic plans, managing staff and ensuring high-quality Veterinary Care. Be a reliable and proactive team player Mentor, develop, and lead clinic team members to excel Balance the needs of the clinical team with the goals of the organization Collaborate with operations team to scale and implement processes Handle customer relations with sensitivity and fairness, manage feedback and address issues to improve overall client satisfaction. Lead weekly team meetings, foster a sense of community within the team. Identify areas of opportunity to increase efficiency and then implement improvements Ensure team members complete their daily tasks Ensure veterinary compliance with all legal requirements. Precise business knowledge to ensure setting and monitoring financial goals, budgeting, and generating financial reports to analyze the clinics performance and profitability, payroll and inventory management. Human resource component includes hiring and onboarding new staff members, conducting performance evaluations, and providing training and development opportunities to the team. Ensuring the clinic's facilities are well-maintained and equipped. Coordination of repairs and maintenance of the clinic's physical space. Fostering an environment of continuous learning, improvement and excellence. Management of relief coverage. Point person to ensure client escalations are addressed personally Qualifications Well- rounded educational background that combines business management skills with a deep understanding of Veterinary Medicine and animal care. Expansive work history in veterinary medicine and related fields. A solid foundation of Veterinary Medicine that will allow for effective communication with DVMs and support staff, ensuring quality care to animal patients. Leadership and Management Skills, including effective decision-making, problem solving and conflict resolution skills. Proficient in managing budgets, analyzing financial reports and identifying areas of cost optimization. Excellent communication skills. Technology proficiency. Problem-solving and critical thinking, informed decision making under pressure and the ability to find innovative solutions in crucial in this role.
