The ideal candidate knows what a good manager is, and does not need to read what one is here! This is an amazing opportunity to work for a growing practice that realizes that a happy staff translates into happy patients. We are an optometrist owned practice that appreciates all the benefits of having licensed opticians on staff. The customer is not always right, and we respect your knowledge and expertise as an optician to let you make the final decision on all things optical. If you know what a "KPI" is, you will greatly appreciate the fact that we don't speak in corporate jargon, give you a schedule that does not allow for family time, or work with quotas and no support. We are the doctors, and we are good at it. We don't know, and don't care to know about opticianry, as that will is your specialty. We do know however, that a well run optical attracts and retains patients, which is why we are looking for a licensed optician. We are not looking for "butterfly" candidates who have worked for 4 practices in the last 5 years. This will be a long term position, and is only available because the awesome optician we currently have is moving.
