Pain Management Location:
Boardman, Ohio Schedule:
Full-Time, Monday-Friday (No evenings or weekends) About the
Role:
Southwoods Health is seeking an Office Coordinator for our Pain Clinic in Boardman. In this pivotal leadership role, you will manage daily operations, coordinate tasks for physicians and clinical staff, and ensure the delivery of high-quality specialty care. You will be responsible for maintaining a smooth, efficient workflow that balances patient satisfaction with the specialized needs of a high-volume pain management environment.
Essential Duties:
Team Leadership:
Supervise clinical and administrative staff, including hiring, orientation, performance appraisals, and daily staffing assignments.
Operations Management:
Oversee complex physician templates and procedure schedules to meet productivity targets and ensure timely patient access.
Clinical & Admin Support:
Serve as a back-up for Medical Assistant (MA) and Front Office (FOS) roles; manage payroll edits and medical/office supply ordering.
Quality & Compliance:
Ensure the practice remains compliant with all regulatory agencies (TJC, OSHA, ODH) and conduct regular safety (EOC) rounds.
Performance Improvement:
Monitor data projects to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency within the specialty clinic setting.
Patient Experience:
Foster a professional environment through exceptional customer service, ensuring patients feel supported throughout their pain management journey.
Qualifications:
Experience:
3-5 years of experience in a physician practice; specialty or pain management experience is highly preferred.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in a health-related field, preferred
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office.
Leadership:
Proven ability to delegate, resolve conflicts, and manage time effectively with minimal supervision.
Workflow Knowledge:
