Front Desk & Optical Staff

Sunbury Family Eyecare is hiring! Growing optometry practice is seeking a full-time or part-time employee. No optometry experience necessary, will train dependable applicants who possess excellent people skills. Duties include but not limited to: scheduling, phones, pre-testing patients, and working with eyeglasses and contact lenses. Candidate should be familiar with computers and have a high-school diploma or equivalent. There will be some evening hours (until 7:00pm) and 2 Saturday mornings per month (8:00am-12:00pm). •Hourly rate of pay based on experience.•Prefer candidates apply in person, call 740-965-1165 with any questions. Responsibilities Conduct vision tests and assess patients' optical health. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Process sales transactions and manage inventory effectively. File and post insurance claims and payments. Accounts payable Assist customers in selecting eyewear that meets their needs and preferences. Provide education on proper eyewear care and usage.
