Join our dedicated team as a Veterinary Hospital Assistant Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our hospital. Your leadership will support our mission to provide exceptional care for our animal patients and their families. Job Responsibilities Assist the Hospital Manager in daily operations and management of the veterinary hospital. Supervise and support veterinary staff, including technicians and administrative personnel. Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations and hospital policies. Coordinate staff schedules. Assist in financial management tasks, such as budgeting, billing, and financial reporting. Facilitate communication between veterinarians, staff, and clients to ensure smooth hospital operations. Address client concerns and ensure high levels of customer service. Organize and participate in staff training and development programs. Monitor facility maintenance and coordinate repairs or improvements as necessary. Assist in marketing and outreach initiatives to promote hospital services. Maintain and update electronic medical records and hospital databases. Support emergency and after-hours operations as needed. Support and the ability to cover multiple positions within the hospital.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years of proven leadership and management experience required. Veterinary or animal care management experience preferred. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in veterinary practice management software. Familiarity with veterinary regulations and standards. Ability to handle and restrain animals safely. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Experience in budgeting and financial management. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Certification in Veterinary Practice Management (CVPM) is a plus.
