This organization is dedicated to delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care and values strong leadership, operational excellence, and teamwork across its clinic locations. Position Summary
  • The Assistant Front Desk Manager plays a key leadership role overseeing front desk and call center operations across multiple clinic sites. This position ensures smooth daily workflows, supports staff performance, and contributes to a positive patient experience. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable leading teams in a fast‑paced healthcare environment. Essential Job Duties
  • Supervise front desk and call center staff across multiple clinic locations Implement performance improvement plans and manage corrective actions as needed Create and manage staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage Provide ongoing training, coaching, and support for new and existing employees Monitor phone systems and collaborate with IT to maintain functionality Oversee daily front office operations and monitor call queues for efficiency Build strong working relationships with internal departments and external vendors Coordinate building maintenance and oversee light facilities support tasks Address patient complaints and resolve disputes professionally and empathetically Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA standards Develop, implement, and enforce front office policies and procedures Manage credentialing processes and office supply inventory Provide hands‑on front office coverage when needed Travel between clinic locations as required Requirements•High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 2 years of management experience in a medical or healthcare setting strongly preferred Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high‑pressure environment Familiarity with credentialing processes and medical office operations Comfortable with physical requirements including lifting up to 50 lbs and extended standing, walking, or sitting Work Environment & Physical Requirements Ability to work long or irregular hours as needed Fast‑paced, high‑volume clinical environment Sit for 4-6 hours and walk up to 2 hours per day Lift and carry up to 50 lbs Perform reaching, bending, stooping, and handling tasks Behavioral Expectations Communicate professionally and respectfully with patients, staff, and providers Maintain a positive and solution‑focused attitude during high‑volume days Demonstrate courtesy, inclusivity, and teamwork in all interactions
