Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Dental Practice Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our busy dental office. This energetic role requires a proactive leader who can manage administrative functions, ensure exceptional patient experiences, and support the clinical team. Job Summary:
Dental Practice Manger to oversee the administrative functions of the dental practice, ensuring efficient operations, excellent patient service, and compliance with regulations. This role involves managing staff, handling financial matters, and improving office systems.
Office Administration:
  • Manage daily operations of the dental office, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Coordinate appointment scheduling, ensuring optimal patient flow and minimizing wait times.
  • Maintain patient records, ensuring they are up-to-date, accurate, and secure.
  • Oversee the ordering of supplies and inventory management.
  • Ensure the office complies with all regulatory requirements, including OSHA and HIPAA.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise administrative and clinical staff.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to discuss office policies, patient care, and team goals.
  • Handle staff scheduling, ensuring adequate coverage at all times.
  • Manage employee performance, including conducting performance reviews and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and staff development.
  • Oversee the billing process, ensuring that claims are submitted promptly and accurately.
  • Monitor accounts receivable, following up on outstanding payments and managing collections if necessary.
  • Prepare and manage the office budget, including payroll, supplies, and other expenses.
  • Analyze financial reports to identify areas for cost-saving and revenue generation.
  • Handle payroll processing and ensure accurate compensation for staff.
  • Ensure a high level of patient satisfaction by addressing concerns and resolving complaints promptly.
  • Communicate with patients regarding treatment plans, financial arrangements, and insurance coverage.
  • Oversee patient intake and registration processes, ensuring efficiency and a welcoming environment.
  • Implement patient retention strategies, such as follow-up calls and satisfaction surveys.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new patients and retain existing ones.
  • Manage the practice's online presence, including social media, website updates, and online reviews.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with referring doctors and local businesses.
  • Organize community outreach programs to promote the practice.
Qualifications Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years in a dental or healthcare management role.
  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in dental office software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft).
  • Knowledge of dental billing, coding, and insurance procedures.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality.
